Body found in Fontana chimmey identified

Fontana – Police officials have identified the body found stuffed inside the chimney of a Fontana home that was owned by Henry Chavez Barriga, 48, of Fontana, but how and why he was in the chimney in the first place is still a mystery.
Barriga’s was discovered by the homeowner who recently purchased the home in teh 6000 block of Knox Avenue as the owner was remodeling the home according to Fontana Police Department.
Investigators estimated that the remains had been in the unused chimney between six months and two years as the home was vacant since 2006.
