Man Leads Law Enforcement on High-Speed chase through streets and yards

Apple Valley – An Apple Valley man led sheriff’s officials on a high-speed chase thought residential streets and on front yards before crashing his vehicle, according to law enforcement.
The 14-mile pursuit reached speeds of 110 miles per hour, San Bernardino County Sheriffs officials reported.
San Bernardino Sheriffs office received a tip from Anaheim Police Department officials February 21 about a stolen Chevy Tahoe that may be in the Apple Valley area. The driver of the Tahoe had eluded Anaheim officers during a previous pursuit.
Deputies from the Gang Team spotted the vehicle on Chole Road and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Victor Cerevic, immediately sped away, driving through yards of nearby homes, sheriff’s officials stated.
Apple Valley deputies and Sheriff’s Aviation joined in the pursuit finally coming to an end when Carevic crashed near he entrance to Victor Valley College.
Investigators were able to confirm the vehicle had been stolen out of Invine. Carevic, who is on parole, is believed to be the driver identified in the Anahiem pursuit.
