CRA Member Mike Morrell Declares for 63rd Assembly District

Posted By Press Release on April 7, 2009

INLAND EMPIRE, CA – Today, conservative business owner Mike Morrell declared his candidacy for the 63rd Assembly District Republican Primary. The 63rd is an open seat due to incumbent Bill Emmerson having been term limited.

Mike Morrell was born in Covina, California and moved to the Inland Empire in 1977. Inspired by the core American beliefs of hard work and personal responsibility, Mike started his own real estate business in 1989. Through economic upturns and downturns the business has survived and prospered, providing local families with homes and local employees with jobs.

Mike has an unyielding commitment to family, faith and limited government. He believes that the state government is creating an increasingly hostile environment for families and small businesses, and that this environment threatens California’s way of life. He is running for State Assembly to change this course – to make California business and family friendly again.

Mike and his wife Joanie live in Rancho Cucamonga and have been married for 31 years. They have 3 children, Kristen, David and Matthew.
