Dollar Tree Robbery Suspects Arrested

BARSTOW – On Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 8:33 a.m., Barstow Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery that occurred at the Dollar Tree Store located at 1264 East Main Street in Barstow. Officer’s responded to the location and talked with the manager of the business who stated that he was robbed of the store’s bank deposit by two male subjects.

Citizen witnesses provided information that lead officers and detectives to the Suncrest apartment complex located at 201 North Yucca Avenue in Barstow.  Barstow Police Department detectives conducted a door to door search at the apartment complex for the suspects.  At one of the apartments, detectives talked with Alex Gullickson and Justin Jacobson, who matched the description of the robbery suspects.  Through an ensuing search of the apartment, detectives were able to locate the stolen money.

Gullickson and Jacobson were subsequently arrested and booked at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Barstow jail for robbery.
