Posted By Press Release on September 30, 2009
“As a lifelong resident of our district and a principled conservative who believes and practices the values of fiscal responsibility, Brad Goehring is the best choice for Congress,” said Maciel. “Brad understands the needs of our area, his personal experience as a businessman and a wine grape grower uniquely qualify him to address the pressing issues of our district. I am proud to support Brad Goehring for Congress.”
Brad Goehring continues to build a strong infrastructure of support among local elected officials and is well positioned to win his home county of San Joaquin, by far the largest county in the district.
“Brad Goehring continues to put all of the pieces together to run a winning campaign that can defeat Jerry McNerney,” said Goehring spokesman Carl Fogliani. “He will continue to win support from all corners of the district because of his commitment to responsible, conservative principles. Brad Goehring continues to show why he is the hands-down choice of district leaders to be their Congressman.”
Brad and his wife Kristin were married in 1997 and they have three children, Lexus, Bryson, and Brielle. They make their home in Clements in northern San Joaquin County.
Brad currently serves on the Board of the Lodi Woodbridge Winegrape Commission and the California Association of Winegrape Growers. Recognized statewide as a leader on agricultural issues, Brad serves as Director at Large for the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau and as national spokesman for the California Farm Bureau’s work on the Clean Water Act.
