Ban government employee unions?

That is the relationship of government unions to the government. Education may be the worst, with unions in most States, with California being the leader, in real control of the classroom and most boards.
Wall Street bond firms are not allowed to donate to campaigns for California Treasurer. Insurance companies do not donate to races for Insurance Commissioner.
To prevent the open conflict of interest, public employee unions should not be allowed to donate to any candidate that has the ability to vote for contracts, wages, benefits or working conditions of union members.
The even better step would be to prevent unions from forcing people to pay dues or not be allowed to work. In the real world that is called a bribe. In government it is called control.
What do you think–end the union monopoly over government by not allowing unions to donate or be involved in campaigns?
