Town of Apple Valley: Free 2010 Community Calendars available Dec. 29

The 2010 Green Apple Valley Community Calendars will be available next week at Town Hall: 14955 Dale Evans Parkway during regular business hours*.
The free award-winning calendar educates our residents about the multitude of ways they can become more environmentally friendly and involved with the community. It includes meeting dates, special events, green tips, an A to Z directory of services, the Official Apple Valley Apple Pie recipe and more.
From engaging all levels of our citizenry in the contest to printing on recycled paper with soy ink to distributing the calendar at Household Hazardous Waste days, the calendar exemplifies Apple Valley’s commitment to social and environmental consciousness.

*Town Hall will be closed Monday, December 28 as part of the Christmas Holiday and Friday, January 1 for New Years Day.
