Maldonado Effort to End Political Parties on June Ballot

Abel Maldonado is still upset that the Republican Party voters would not nominate him for State Controller in 2006.

So, he is getting even.  The Democrats needed his vote to raise taxes by tens of billions of dollars.  He didn’t care.  So, Abel worked out a deal–I will vote to kill jobs and harm families if you allow my ballot measure on the ballot to kill political parties.

A deal was struck.

If Abel has his way, California will not have a single “third party”.  In many districts the special interests will totally takeover the electoral process.

Thanks Abel, you are going to unite Californians against this Chicago/ACORN style measure.
