Meg Whitman Announces San Diego County Steering Committee

CUPERTINO – Today, Meg Whitman, Republican candidate for Governor, announced her San Diego County Grassroots Steering Committee. The group will help recruit volunteers and mobilize voters throughout San Diego County.
Since announcing her candidacy, Whitman has aggressively reached out to voters in the San Diego-area on several occasions. They want new leadership in Sacramento and find Whitman to be a refreshing change from politics as usual.
Meg’s promise to create jobs, cut government spending and fix the state’s education system is resonating with Californians across the state. The San Diego County Grassroots Committee will help rally more supporters and get out the vote.
“Meg Whitman will get California back on the right track,” said Beth Binger, San Diego Regional Co-Chair. “She is a proven leader with a plan to create jobs and reinvigorate California’s economy, and she has the ability to make it happen.”
