Brad Goehring the Candidate to Watch in CD 11
Posted By Press Release on April 19, 2010
Stockton (CA) -The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has announced that Brad Goehring is “On the Radar” an important first step in the Young Guns program. Young Guns is a member driven organization dedicated to electing open seat and challenger candidates nationwide. The 11th District is currently “represented” by Jerry McNerney who has turned his back on the will of his constituents on numerous occasions in order to support Nancy Pelosi’s left wing agenda.
Founded during the 2007-08 election cycle by Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) the Young Guns program is designed to assist Republican Candidates for the House of Representatives in accomplishing goals and reaching benchmarks focused on the fundamentals of a winning campaign. Goehring’s “On the Radar” status is a reflection of his ability to build a solid campaign structure and reach important fundraising goals.
“The NRCC is committed to working with Brad Goehring as he continues to meet the rigorous goals of the Young Guns program,” said NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions. ”Brad’s record as an accomplished, community leader who will fight to create jobs and rein in government spending puts him in a position to succeed in this election. I am confident that Republicans will wage a strong fight against Jerry McNerney, a loyal Democrat who has repeatedly put his partisan agenda before a healthy economy.”
“Brad Goehring once again led in cash on hand in the latest finance report and continues to win support from local GOP and community leaders so it’s no surprise to have Brad placed “On the radar,” said Spokesman Carl Fogliani. ”Other campaigns, particularly David Harmer’s, continually chirp that they are the frontrunner in this election…in every instance they compare themselves to Brad Goehring. There’s a reason for that. Brad Goehring is in control of this race. We all remember the Harmer campaign a few short months ago telling everyone they had done a poll and were in a dead heat with John Garamendi in the 10th district. Just saying something in a press release doesn’t make it a reality.”
