SACRAMENTO • State Sen. Roy Ashburn, who cast a key vote in favor of the largest tax increase in California history last year, was arrested early Wednesday morning on suspicion of drunken driving.
California Highway Patrol officers in Sacramento arrested Ashburn around 4 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.
Ashburn, R-Bakersfield, represents Adelanto.
